Job Description

  • Develop and deliver business growth strategies for our existing portfolio and new market offerings
  • Identify, recommend and win support for business opportunities’ development which reflect and respond to customer demand
  • Be responsible for implementing strategic business development plans that will enable you to be successful across short, medium and long term ventures
  • Lead marketing and sales activities and develop innovative technical and commercial solutions that match new requirements in all relevant markets
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of business development with experience of operating in industry sectors relevant to our group products
  • Be strong commercially, able to develop and build relationships with blue chip customers and have a level of technical understanding that can support the design and manufacturing functions

Ideal Candidate

  • Someone who has had experience in the component industry and can take control of the whole marketing of company's products and take them to the next level
  • Experience in managing distributors and accounts with some travel
  • Creative business development skills and ability to build and develop long term relationships with new customers; maintain relationships and develop new business with existing customers
  • You should be able to constructively challenge current solutions provided to ensure that the optimum possible service is delivered to meet customer needs, thereby providing continuously improving customer satisfaction in a competitive market
  • One needs to be skilled in team working and have leadership and influencing skills at all levels.
  • Candidates must demonstrate proven skills in communications, planning and presentation and a background in business development of both short and long sales cycles with the ability to think and operate strategically whilst also having the capability to produce compelling financial arguments.
  • Candidates should have a confident, amiable personality; be a team player, with ability and credibility to work and to lead within a team environment.
