Job Description

The company is seeking an individual with a passion for consumer insight both at a broad marketing level, and also at a product-development level. This person will know what drives our customer to play, and also guide product research and development, including information architecture, usability, interaction design, and visual design. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in consumer research and/or designing and evaluating the usability of new and existing online content and applications, and recommending improvements to enhance user experience based on user feedback, usability principles and established standards.

Preferred Experience

• Experience utilizing a variety of user research techniques
• Demonstrated skill in collecting, analyzing and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Impeccable analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work confidently and effectively with diverse teams
• Rapid prototyping skills (Paper, PowerPoint, Visio, Photoshop, Dream weaver) and an iterative team-oriented design processes
• Familiarity with Web 2.0 and social media
• BS or BA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Product Design, Human Factors, HCI, or similar (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years experience in market research, software application design or complex Web interaction design
• 2+ years experience working directly with Web developers during product implementation
