Based in the City, you will be providing specialist pre-sales consultancy to specific account opportunities within the Investment Banking and/or Capital Markets Sector. Dealing with complex customer situations and using your specialised knowledge of business areas, solutions or technologies you will help ensure a win-win outcome for both parties. Adept at working with the sales force to successfully sell value-based solutions and develop strategies and goals for their successful deployment you will be able to comfortably and confidently present (and demo) our clients solutions to external parties. These presentations may be at client sites or public events. You will also be conducting Proof of Concepts where required. Your extensive knowledge of solutions, technologies, methodologies and procedures within the software arena, ideally the Business Intelligence and/or Data Integration and/or Data Warehousing and/or Analytics arenas (although this is not mandatory), will enable you to form excellent business relationships within both the Investment Banking/ Capital Markets Sector and the organisation. Knowledge and experience of supporting software sales activity into the Investment Banking and/or Capital Markets sector is of prime importance to the success of this role.
